I currently hold an FAA Drone Pilot certification. This allows me to apply for waivers to fly in controlled airspaces. I fly drones for my own pleasure when I travel, but I also flew drones as a biologist to help with mosquito surveillance in search of green swimming pools.
With over 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, I have been able to support the designs of cloud-based systems for biotech companies and lead product designs of enterprise systems for manufacturing companies. I've conducted user research, create accessible design systems, prototype, and presented to cross-functional teams.
I was taught to draw when I was 3 years old. Then, in high school, I received a presidential scholarship to attend the Acadamy of Art University at San Francisco where I learned charcoal drawing, 2D animation, 3D video game design, and photography.
With over 6 years of experience in the scientific research field, I've been able to conduct my own research, develop programs, create budgets and proposals, present at conferences, and published my first peer-reviewed research paper.
I had been a cellist for 19 years and was a former cellist for the UC Davis Symphony. If you ever need private lessons, I would be more than happy to share my knowledge and help you play the cello!
